RMK MARINE is one of the locomotive companies in the Turkish Shipbuilding Industry with the featured shipbuilding projects it realized which incorporate high techonologies, complex designs and integration engineering applications as well as its corporate identity and infrastructure means. RMK MARINE has extended its horizons and turnover by continuous quality improvement and breakthrough projects since it joined to KOÇ Holding in 1997. RMK MARINE offers turn-key solutions in super yacht production, commercial and naval ship building both in national and international markets.
Our Shipyard realised various naval shipbuilding projects successfully for the Turkish Naval Forces and Coast Guard Command in the recent past. In the naval ships segment, The Coast Guard Search and Rescue (CG SAR) Vessel Project which includes 4 vessels, is the first and biggest combat ship building project ever realized by a private shipyard in Turkey. We maintain our preparation and will at the utmost level, both in order to serve to our country’s defense industry Naval Platform Projects and abroad, by making use of the self-confidence, qualified manpower and know-how gained by the completed projects, particularly CG SAR Vessel Design and Building Project.
Regarding to the commercial ship segment, RMK MARINE is continuing to design and build environmental friendly tankers equipped with high-tech systems. We are trying to develop ourself to maintain our feature as being the preferred shipyard by the customers in particularly for products which require transportation at high temperatures like asphalt/bitumen as well as chemical/oil product carrying tankers.
One important aspect merits mentioning. RMK MARINE is among the first and most successful applicants on global scale regarding the installation and integration of special and complex equipment such as Ballast Water Treatment System (BWTS), SCR and Scrubber systems aiming to provide the compliance with the criteria which have been introduced for preventing the pollution of the seawater and air pollution up to the minimum levels within the requirements of the relevant rules and regulations of IMO.
In addition to the major scale naval and commercial shipbuilding projects, we have also realised a number of small scale vessel construction projects recently, such as tugboats, service boats and mooring boats in order to comply with the demands received by our clients.
Superyacht activities have always been a major part of RMK MARINE’s main business since the foundation of the company. RMK MARINE which signed and realised successfull projects in super yachts production segment will continue to build Super Yachts and Mega Yachts and will influence the higher segment by also having served its own and unique yacht designs over 50 meters. Many of the superyachts built by our company since 2003 have been awarded by a number of international organisations and juries, including World Superyachts awards. The recent examples to these awards are those won by Karia, a 45 m yacht and by Sarafin, a 30 m yacht, in 2012 and by Keyla in rebuilt category in 2014.
After all these achievements, in 2007, the cooperation with Oyster MARINE and Dubois Naval Architects, enhanced RMK MARINE in composite yacht building and let the shipyard to become a composite superyacht building expert whilst strengthen its market presence. Besides the expertise on composite manufacturing, the completion of 30m M/Y Sarafin and M/Y Penelope and 38m Twilight gained a considerable experience on sailing yachts and created the best infrastructure for composite yacht building nationally.

Our global network where we can provide continuous after sales services all over the world highlights our dedication and commitment to our clients and ships and in parallel allow us conducting all kind of refit projects from major rebuilds to vintage yacht restorations.
