RMK MARINE PERFORMED NAMING AND CHRISTENING CEREMONY OF ROSE PG


 

RMK MARINE has performed the naming&christening ceremony of ROSE PG successfully on Tuesday, 8th August 2017. The 7.000 Dwt IMO II Chemical and Oil Products Tanker ROSE PG with Hull Nr.NB107, designed and built for Pritchard Gordon Tankers (PGT) Ltd., the British owners of the Ship, is the 17th ship that RMK MARINE built in the chemical tanker segment. The naming&christening ceremony of ROSE PG was conducted in accordance with the British maritime traditions. Mr.Adnan Nefesoglu, RMK MARINE’s CEO expressed in his speech that they were proud that it has been a great privilege for themselves to be qualified as eligible by PGT, amidst competitive global market conditons for ensuring the best design and construction of a vessel, in accordance with very special requirements of PGT. Mr.Nefesoglu pointed out that they were proud, because PGT’s management decided to proceed with RMK MARINE in this project, based on RMK MARINE’s proposed infrastructure capabilities, skillsets of its employees, in addition to the commitment and financial power as the backbone of its competencies. Mr.Rory Aird, Managing Director of PGT delivered a short speech by the occasion of naming and christening ceremony of ROSE PG. He stated that they were pleased to realise this project with RMK MARINE, the premium quality of workmanship that RMK MARINE has ensured, the equipment quality and the usage of hi-technolgoy during the construction of the Vessel. Following the naming&christening ceremony, the event was completed by hosting the guests.
