RMK MARINE HAS LAUNCHED BIT HERO SUCCESSFULLY

RMK MARINE has launched BIT HERO successfully by a modest ceremony conducted on 12th of July 2017. BIT HERO with Hull Nr.NB106 and 7.760 Dwt displacement which is being built for Tarbit Shipping AB, the Swedish owners of the Ship, is the fourth ship RMK MARINE has built in the asphalt segment. Like her sister ship BIT ECO, it is also the outcome of the labor of approximately 300 employees spent within the last 18 months. Mr.Adnan Nefesoglu, RMK MARINE’s CEO pointed out once again in his speech that they have been building more sophisticated and environment friendly ships, like BIT ECO and BIT HERO, by using the knowledge, experience and know-how gained by designing and building T.Aylin and T.Esra as the pioneers of the series of asphalt tankers of RMK MARINE. Consequently they have targetted to become a world brand in sophisticated and environment friendly ship building segments due to using these advantages. He added that they got one step closer to this target by the construction and deliveries of BIT ECO and BIT HERO. Mr.Torkel Hermansson, the Swedish shipowner, delivered a short speech in the launching ceremony too and expressed their happiness and trust for doing business with RMK MARINE and their admiration to RMK MARINE’s skills and capabilities repeatedly. The ceremony was completed following the launch of BIT HERO.
